This is a green juice I make as a Type 1 Diabetic almost every day for breakfast. It's healthy, it's fresh, tasty and full of vitamins and minerals… a bomb of nutritional awesomeness! It's such a healthy green juice because it contains:

Spinach: Extremely high nutritional value and is rich in antioxidants. Good source of vitamins A, B2, C and K, and also contains magnesium, manganese, folate, iron, calcium and potassium.

Parsley: High amounts of Vitamin K, A, C, Folate, Iron and Magnesium. Helps to lower blood sugar levels.

Celery: Its nutrients can prevent Type 2 Diabetes. High in Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Magnesium and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Folate, Potassium and Manganese.

Lemon: Good source of Folate and Potassium, and a very good source of Vitamin C. Lemon juice helps Type 1 Diabetics to lower blood sugar and increase insulin sensitivity and it's also a great weight loss remedy.

Ginger: Breaks down glycogen so it decreases blood sugar. Good source of Vitamin C, Magnesium, Potassium, Copper and Manganese.
